We are looking for experienced Kitchen Managers to join our company. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for directing the kitchen with day to day operations in an efficient & compliant manner, ensuring food quality is held at the highest standard, and communicating well with staff and management. This position is also responsible for placing food & supplies orders, creating schedules, directly managing kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, and preparing menu items consistently and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate with Spanish-speakers is preferred
- Knowledge of food service health regulations
- 3+ years kitchen management experience
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Proven experience in managing staff, COGS budget, labor budget
- The ability to work on your feet for entirety of shift (average of 8 hours) and lift 50 pounds at a time
- Open availability, nights & weekends are required
- Recipe development experience preferred but not required
